I read the books but never saw the film so this is my own interpretation of the main character Christian Greys' home. Monochrome throughout this masculine home I think may appeal to this self confident and complex character. Anyway it was a fun challenge... so thank you Homestyler for the chance to do something a little different.

I wanted to refrain from completely renovating the home and modernizing it, so I decided to do parts, and furnish it with local antiques and furnishings found along Long Island. Please Enjoy!

The entire area was an abandoned park. At the main entrance to the territory, a brick wall on the right had a technical room. And in the depths of the garden there is a guest summer house with an additional extension for servicing the territory.

On the second floor there is a bedroom, bathroom and library. The living room with white and blue decor and expansive windows offering bay views is perfect for relaxed coastal living.

Therefore it was the logical choice to choose shades of wood as the main attraction and design inspiration. The house was designed for living in the country with a family or to use it as a weekend retreat with groups of friends. Three bedrooms and three bathrooms and ample living spaces makes it a comfortable home to live in. The garden was designed for country living with a pool area and deck.

Typically, natural materials were used in this interiors: wooden beams, stone or brick fireplaces, hardwood or stone floors, and naturale fabrics. These elements infuse the space with a tactile appeal that invites people to relax. It seems to me that an elderly couple lives in this house, who happily welcome children, grandchildren and guests into their home.

On the basement floor there is a cloakroom for visitors, bathrooms, a cinema hall for 23 people, an auditorium-lecture hall for 42 people, a living room for meetings and filming together, dressing room, coffee shop, billiard room, technical rooms. The first floor - reception, cafeteria with a kitchen, bathrooms, a conference hall for 10 people, offices. The second, third, fifth floors are offices and bathrooms. The fourth floor is a library, bathrooms, and a cafeteria. It is planned to arrange a winter garden on the roof.

Den Mateus 591.99㎡ The purpose of this community centre is to help the homeless by providing free meals, hot showers, clean toilets, a small library and rooms to stay in. The ground floor consists of the communal areas, a simple commercial kitchen, and a small reception and office for the staff to utilise for the general management of the establishment and for the planning fundraising events. The dining and socialising area can be used for such fundraising events. The top floor consists of small bedrooms, seven ordinary and four dog-friendly, which can be used by the homeless on a single-nightly basis. Toilets, showers and relaxation spaces are also available. The overall design features ample natural light, neutral colours and mixed wood tones to create a clean and calming atmosphere. Low-cost repurposed materials and donated furniture pieces are used throughout the space to maximise available funds for the running of the facility.

357.78㎡ This design story is about a man who wanted to live alone with his two dogs.....and then built himself a house deep in the woods where only he knows where😉😉. The design started off with the modern wooden house model that was found in the library and then transported on a one level house and transformed into a mostly glass house. What a find that model was!! The space s was organized into a basement level for the open plan LDK and the whole top floor was dedicated to a master suite for the man and his dogs as you would see! Please enjoy this deep, dark and moody space. One thing, dear Homestyler, if I may ask that you would please make the woods environment for rendering part of the generic section to be used for indoor and outdoor lighting. That would be so amazing!

1904.82㎡ Situated within a prestigious university in England, this traditional style grand library has been functioning since the 1800s. Whilst natural light floods the central space, chandeliers and lamps are used to provide cozy ambient lighting on and below the balconies. Dating back to the time of construction, original finishes and furnishings have been maintained and are still used throughout the space whilst a selection of vintage artefacts have been collected and displayed on the central counter.

The open-plan layout connects the living area, dining space, and kitchen, creating a smooth and functional flow throughout the home. Industrial pendant lights, sleek cabinetry, and matte finishes enhance the modern aesthetic without losing the rugged industrial edge. Greenery elements and soft textiles balance the space, making it feel both contemporary and inviting. The goal of this design is to create a harmonious home that reflects city living—stylish, practical, and full of personality. AI Function Application:AI tools were used to streamline the design process, enhance realism, and generate accurate layout suggestions. The AI model helped refine materials, improve lighting effects, balance color palettes, and enhance the visual atmosphere. Repurposed materials and reused furniture have been used throughout the space and solar energy and filtered rainwater reserves are the main source of power and water for the building. Located in the heart of the New Forest, the college is surrounded by open space and nature which has influenced the aesthetic of the interior.

I didn't have much growing up, but my sister and I always enjoyed going to the library to look for new books, attend children's activity days, and participate in reading challenges throughout the summer. My design was inspired by those memories and incorporates pastel colors, natural wood tones, and fun places to read and relax. The downstairs is more for the younger children with an arts and crafts area, bookshelves, swinging seats, and two bathrooms. The upstairs is more for pre-teens and teenagers with a more sophisticated study area. The outside patio has more seating and a jungle gym.
