MANY SHADES OF GREY.
50 SHADES OF GREY the film and book trilogy was my inspiration for this cinematic theme. I read the books but never saw the film so this is my own interpretation of the main character Christian Greys' home. Monochrome throughout this masculine home I think may appeal to this self confident and complex character. Anyway it was a fun challenge... so thank you Homestyler for the chance to do something a little different.

This unusual shaped one storey home has a large hallway with seating area. A kitchen & open plan office area. A covered walkway then leads you to the guest bedroom, gym with indoor pool and finally large bedroom, bathroom area with walk-in closets and separate seating area.

The spacious hallway sets the tone for this home. Decorated throughout in multi tones of grey..the feel is self confident and stylish contemporary good looks. Modelled perhaps on the central character from the film.
The hallway leads to a seating area cum library with door to kitchen.

The office area is an open place space attached to the kitchen.
At the far end of the office hallway is another seating area.

The kitchen is functional with all clutter and general kitchen paraphernalia hidden away in multiple cupboards.
Another small seating area makes use of this irregular shaped area.
Deliberately sparsely furnished but with all you need for a single male and his guests.

A unusual feature this covered walkway leads from one area of the home to another and is the access way for vehicles to enter the property.

The master bedroom sprawls out at one end of this building…a large platform bed, seating areas, walk- in his and hers closets and a shower area.
