Overview

Centered on the core theme “From AI's World Model to Your Dream Home: AI-Driven Design for a Better Life” this competition is rooted in the concept of AI empowering 3D interior design. It explores Large World Model (LWM), a next-generation core AI technology for physical-world perception and interaction. The competition is now openly calling for submissions from professional designers worldwide, faculty and students from universities and colleges, design enthusiasts, as well as individual creators and teams. It aims to continuously uncover the innovative value and development potential of artificial intelligence in industry applications.

    Demonstrates a deep understanding of AI design through the effective use of AI technology and innovative applications (40%)

  • Functionality

    The design should possess real practical value, showcasing high feasibility and implementability (30%)

  • Aesthetics

    The design should exhibit a high level of aesthetic quality, with harmonious and natural color and material combinations (30%)

Select a challenge, enter the event, and click “Join Now” to submit your design project.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How is 2026 AIDA different from 2025 AIDA?

    2026 AIDA will accept entries on both the web platform and the app. Entries will be judged separately for each platform.
    In addition, the competition has specific requirements for render counts and AI tool usage:
    Web entries must include at least 4 renderings from different angles.
    App entries must include at least 2 renderings.
    Each entry must use at least 2 AI features from tools such as AI Planner, AI Modeler, AI Decor, AI Texturer, AI Painter, AI Planter, AI Render, and Home Copilot.

  • Can I submit through both the web platform and the app? Will they be judged separately?

    Yes. You may create and submit your work on either the Homestyler web platform or the app. All entries will be entered into the competition pool, but final judging will be conducted separately for the web and app categories.

  • Why are the awards different for the web platform and the app?

    The web platform is more suited to professional-level design, while the app is designed for greater convenience and ease of use. Since the two platforms differ in design complexity, the awards are set separately.

  • Can I enter if I am not a professional interior designer but am interested in AI design?

    Yes. The competition is open to individuals and teams worldwide who are interested in AI interior design. No specific academic background is required, as long as your work is created on the Homestyler AI platform.

  • Can students from different schools form a team?

    Yes. Student teams are welcome, and there are no restrictions on which schools team members come from.

  • Can I submit a work that has already been published on another platform?

    Yes, as long as the work is original and free of copyright disputes. The submission must remain unique and innovative.

  • I entered the wrong personal information. Can I edit it?

    Yes. Before registration is approved, you can log in to your account and update your personal information on the profile page.

  • I missed something after submitting my entry. Can I add more content?

    Yes. During the submission period, you can log in to the website and edit your entry through the work management page.

  • How will the judges evaluate the entries?

    Entries will be judged based on three criteria:
    1.Innovation – Creative use of AI to present original interior design ideas and methods, with a strong understanding of AI-powered design.
    2.Practicality – The design should be functional, feasible, and applicable in real-life use.B13 3.Aesthetics – The design should have strong visual appeal, with harmonious colors, materials, and an overall comfortable atmosphere.

  • What is the weighting between public voting and judges’ scores?

    The final result will be determined by both the professional jury and public voting, with a weighting of 70% jury score and 30% public score.

  • When will prize money be distributed?

    After the public announcement period ends and no objections are raised, the organizer will contact the winners to confirm the details, and the prizes will be distributed within one month.
