Simple Home
This build is a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, single level house. The theme throughout the home incorporates cool blue tones as well as a mix of light and dark woods. All of the windows have black paneling, with a few of them being arched. A lot of the design choices follow a bohemian style. I wanted the home to feel somewhat open concept by connecting the front entrance, living room, and kitchen. The office is off of the living with the library attached to create a separate area for work and studying. The first bathroom is also off of the living room for easy access to all guests.
The front door is simple with a porch and small seating area.
This is an extended view with the windows in the library.
The back door has a porch as well and small bench for enjoying meals outdoors.
I wanted the office to feel inviting with a lot of natural light and a second seating option.
The first bathroom which is accessible from the living room is simple for any guests with a walk-in shower.
The library is attached to the office and also has a lot of natural light as well as a comfortable seat for reading.
The primary bedroom is spacious with its own TV area, walk-in closet, and bathroom. What I like most about this room is the natural lighting.
The walk-in closet has plenty of room for one or two people´s clothing as well as a large full length mirror.
The primary bathroom has a double sink vanity, bathtub and plenty of wall space to add more storage.
I like the blue accent wall behind the vanity.
The laundry room is very large with its own sink and plenty of counter space. I really like the corner window because it makes the space feel even bigger.
There are a lot of storage options in this room which allows it to double as a pantry or storage room.
The kitchen is very open concept with a large island in the middle and dining area to the side.
I really like the island counter top in the middle of the kitchen because it can be used for food prep and as another eating area if you added stools.
The front entrance and living are basically connected which makes the house feel very big as soon as you open the front doors. I was inspired by bohemian decor for this space.
This is the linen closet down the hall from the living and beside the primary bedroom.
It is lined with shelving unit on all three walls for maximum storage.

The second bedroom is the most colourful room in the house and uses wallpaper as an accent wall. I really like the arched windows on either side of the bed because it makes the room feel larger and lets in a lot of natural light.
This is the view from the nightstand which shows the TV on the wall and entrance to the walk-in closet.
This is the entrance to the walk in closet that has shelves, drawers, and racks on two walls. On the third wall there is a large full length mirror.
