English Bungalow

Floor Plan 236.8㎡

I originally was going to have a two-story home, but I changed my mind after deciding it was going to be in rural England because smaller houses such as bungalows give off a nice and cozy vibe different from the city. Everything attaches to the living room and kitchen for easy access.

Garage

This laundry room is simple yet efficient. There is a state of the art washer and dryer right by a window with a privacy screen to get some of that natural light in. There are hangers and places to hang clothes to dry. There is also a small shelf to put folded clothes and detergent.

It is insulated so it stays cool in the summer and warm in the winter. I really like the marble floors because it gives off a very rich and luxurious feeling, especially with my pink lambo.

Laundry Room

This laundry room is simple yet efficient. There is a state of the art washer and dryer right by a window with a privacy screen to get some of that natural light in. There are hangers and places to hang clothes to dry. There is also a small shelf to put folded clothes and detergent.

There is also great folding space on top of the washer and dryer. Inside the room there is a handy mirror if you want to get changed into clothes fresh out the wash.

closet

This closet is in the kid's room. It is spacious enough to change and can hold a lot of clothes. There is a small shelf to put folded clothes on if you do not have any room left in the dresser. There are places to hand bags and jackets on small circular hooks on the wall and places to hang clothes.

Library/office

The office is the perfect place for you to work from home or finish your homework. It has good natural lighting during the day time and a nice lamp to brighten the room if you are studying late at night. The entrance to the backyard is located here where there is a sliding door.

Along with the more serious side of the office, there is also a gaming set up. A desktop with high graphics is the highlight of this section of the room. There is a comfortable gaming chair that you can sit on for hours. A printer is there if you need to print notes or pictures for school and work.

For book lovers, there is a bookshelf with a lot of shelves to store your favourite novels. It takes up almost a whole wall and can fit any book large or small. The red accents really make the bright white pop and ties the whole room together.

Kids Room

I like this room because it is colourful, which is how a kids room should be. There are pictures on his wall from countries he has traveled and a soccer ball because it's his favourite sport. There's a bookshelf with his favourite stories and a rocking chair that he likes to sit and read them on.

Almost every little boy wants a race car bed in their room, which is exactly what this house has. It is big and comfortable to sleep on and can fit many pillows. His dresser has some of his favourite toys and can fit a good amount of clothes that will keep them organized.

Bathroom

This is the master bedroom bathroom for you to have easy access to toiletries without having to wait your turn in the main washroom. It has a nice stand up shower and shelves for you to put perfumes, toiletries, shampoo, and any other products you want.

The sink has a nice, deep basin so water does not splash everywhere and a lot of counter space to but your products. A regular porcelain toilet and gold toilet roll holder catches your eye from the grey background.

Second Bedroom

I consider this the perfect bedroom for a preteen or teenager. It's very spacious and has good shelf space to put plants and decor. It has a nice vanity that also serves as a dresser, so you can get changed and look in the mirror right away. The honeycomb wall art is a statement piece that pops out.

I added a green accent wall because the theme of this room is plants and greenery. There is a big bed, so you have a lot of space. The bookshelf fits quite a lot, so storage space is not an issue. The plants hanging from the wall give the room dimension and go along with the overall theme.

There is a bay window that you can sit on to watch a show on your laptop, read a book, or look out at the view. The bean bag chair is also there if you are looking for something a bit cozier then the ledge of the window. It is a great place to relax after school and read or scroll on your phone.

Second Bathroom

The main bathroom has the basic necessities for you to use daily and for guests to use when they come over. It has a quality stand up shower with toiletries right beside it such as soap, conditioner, and shampoo. There are blinds on the window for privacy and a hanging light to brighten the space.

The double sink makes using the bathroom easy and efficient. Two people can brush their teeth, wash their hands, and get ready at the same time, which limits bathroom wait times. There's counter space in the middle and on the edges for soap and a mat if your feet are wet after the shower.

Living Room and kitchen

Here is our open concept living room and kitchen. It is designed specifically to be easy to navigate and feel connected to everyone whether you are sitting in the living room, cooking in the kitchen, or eating with your family in the dining room.

The living room is simple yet chic. It has a comfy sofa that can sit around 4 people, which is great for family movie night. It has a small glass coffee table to put your snacks, drinks, and remotes on. It has a decent size flat screen TV with a storage unit below it to store DVDs and other things.

A small little nook that connects the kids room and laundry room to the main part of the house with a nice painting of a woman with flowers draped over her head.

The front entrance of the house is found at the end of this hall along with the garage door on the right. There is a gold shoe rack for guests to put there shoes on before entering the house. There are a couple paintings to brighten up the hallway a little bit.

This is another view of the open space. Here you can clearly see the refrigerator and cupboards to store our food in the kitchen. You can see the dining room table that seats six people, which is just enough for a family and a couple guests.

This is a hallway that connects one of the bedrooms and bathrooms to the main part of the house. There are a couple nice flowers placed along the wall to brighten up the space and make it more homey.

Master Bedroom

This is located in the master bedroom and can be used for many things. It can be slept on, used as an extra bed for guests, a little reading nook, or just a place to chill and unwind. It is one of the unique features of the house because not very many people have something as special as this.

Personally, this is my favourite room in the house. The lighting and layout is so pretty and special that it belongs in a magazine. There's a king size bed right beside a window. A nightstand for you to put your stuff on before bed. Finally, a dresser to put your clothes in with nice decor on top.

The natural lighting in this area really ties the room together. There is a huge flat screen TV on the wall so you can relax in bed and watch a show. A beautiful vanity to put all your makeup on and to use when you're getting ready to go out, and a beautiful painting of the Eiffel Tower on the wall.
