It is also being produced as an alternative fossil fuel to produce a revolutionary form of fuel ... that is kind to the planet. This semi floating 5 storey vertical farm is my vision of what a seaweed farm could look like as we strive to make the world a safer and more sustainable habitat.
A floating passageway leads to the ground floor office, behind this the growing area for cuttings in multi tier containers. floor 2 has the research office, staff lounge and pool hubs for rare specimens.3rd floor is has seedling incubation tanks 4th floor the drying room. 5th floor is storage,

Floating on a platform in the lagoon surrounds by its harvest of seaweed welcome to The Seaweed Plantation a vertical farm invested in the growing and developing usages that this unique vegetable of the water can be used for.
The seaweed grows wild in the lagoon and manmade beds seen here are used to increases harvest and be easily accessible for collecting.
Growing Room !
Young seaweed cuttings develop in these multilayer troughs before they are transported to the lagoon.
Karen!! This is BRILLIANT!! This is the most clever idea and you have been so creative with what each level holds! I am so impressed with how you used that almost bog environment, created the floating platform, all of the various stages of growth and experimentation, the containers and watering systems -- wow!! Great job!!
