Perched on the hillside above the waterside town below welcome to Hillside Tropics a home where the living is easy and the weather is always warm. This home is designed for lazy days by the pool and making the most of this ground floor open plan area perfect for entertaining and relaxing.

Hillside tropics has a wonderful location.
The property is surrounded by lush vegetation.
This angle shows the dimensions of the property very well.
Shade from the sun and relax in these fun spotty animal print chairs.

This comfortable upstairs sitting area is decorated in neutrals..using local materials where possible.
Courtyard
the upstairs area can be accessed by two stairs...one od which you can see here.
The kitchen is a unique semi open space close to the bbq area.
BBQ and log fire perfect for summer entertaining.
The pool is a shady haven for respite from the sun.
Two walls have a floor to ceiling tropical rainforest as a backdrop.
The entertainment area has two sofa and a large dining table.
Bathroom
The small bathroom is tiled throughout foe hygiene and keeping the area cool from the heat of the tropical sun.
Life is good...peachy infact!
The small bedroom complete with suspended rope bed.

Wow, Karen! What a tropical paradise!! This is one gorgeous retreat! I love how you placed the living area upstairs, and created such a beautiful, shaded oasis for the courtyard below. That living room is magazine-cover!! I love the finishes you've used, and your construction is so cool! I've got dibs on the lounger by the pool!
