Making Shapes
Set on the banks of the water welcome to a contemporary home where geometric shapes and wallcoverings form an intrinsic base to the styling of this home. The interior has a liberal sprinkling of shapes and bold patterns throughout whilst attempting to remain sleek and a little mediterranean in its appearance. Outside geometric brickwork forms much of the foundation in garden area and fun rooftop pool area. The main living area is on the ground floor and are set round the garden courtyard. A kitchen diner flows into the lounge and this leads to a small office/hallway. From there the bathroom and bed are accessed. Stairs from the lounge take you up to a rooftop pool area.

A glimpse of the rooftop pool area.
the stairwell leading up from the sitting area to a surprise rooftop garden and pool area.
Navy and white diamond fabric has been used to link -in with the theme and the geometric wall texture continues .
This roof terrace was a fun extra that has giving this home a whole extra area to relax and take in these great views.
after a dip in the pool...
Soak up the sun in a recliner.....
Before Sangria and maybe lunch is served!
These stairs are definitely worth the climb ....... enjoy the view.
This little study area is situated in the hallway between the living room and bedroom.
This desk with its almost aerodynamic shape seemed perfect for this geometric theme.
this office area looking through into the bedroom
the courtyard garden with riverside views.
The garden was left simple as I felt an over fussy area would detract from the natural beauty of the immediate waters edge landscape.
A glimpse of the rooftop pool area is just visible in this shot.
The simple bathroom design continues with the same colour scheme of blue and grays. Coloured perspex has being introduced on some of the furnishing and large mirrors bounce the light around.
The main sitting room has as its centrepiece these leather blue upholstered sofas bold enough in their own right to live harmoniously with the geometric wallpaper that is used throughout this home.
The rooms all open onto the courtyard style garden
The dividing partition has deliberately been left free of accessories to allow maximum views of the kitchen area.
moving through to the kitchen with reverse view into the sitting area,
the staircase leadings to a roof terrace pool area,
the kitchen units also in the same bold blue as the sofas are offset with white dining chairs and metallic accents.
Perfect corner area for taking in the waterside views.
This extra little seating area is semi screened from the main kitchen, idea for some quiet reading or catching up on tv,
A glimpse into the garage accessible from the kitchen.

What a dream home this is on the banks of the lake! I love the flow of the house from the inside out and between space inside! The outdoor areas kept me busy wandering from space to space and to take it all in!! Love the touches of geometry in the clever use of the wallpaper throughout!! This is a stunning and striking design and blew my mind!! Well done my dear Karen!!
