Waters Edge is the home of a confirmed bachelor and his faithful canine companion. This solitary man enjoys living with nature particular the sea and has found his perfect home just a step from the water with this single story dwelling complete with small private jetty and mooring for his boat. As a photographer and writer this home is a sanctuary of calm modern tranquility. The interior is muted with soft blues, beiges. wood and an easy going masculine charm. A place where the owner can retreat from the everyday hectic pace and stresses of modern life.

The bedroom continues the colour scheme and has direct access to the terrace area with views across the water.
Soothing denim blues combine with grey and wheat tones for the jumble of bedding.
Bathroom
Deep blue tiles, soft wood tones and grey wallcovering create a masculine harmonious bathroom.
Twin sinks, a recess shower unit and a collection of modern artworks..the spacious bathroom is uncluttered and has subdued lighting for a calming atmosphere.
Balcony
This wonderful location is the perfect anecdote to unwind and forget about the stresses of modern day life,

The open plan living space is central to the home, at its core the seating area with twin sidig doors out to the covered balcony and private jetty.
This angle captures the irregular shape of the central living space with the kitchen to the rear.
Looking through from the main seating area you catch a glimpse of the small dining area.

The entire apartment relies on as much natural light as possible. Reflective surfaces have been used to bounce the light from area to area.

Although labelled as the terrace this room is the snug cum office and is immediately as you come through the front entrance. The room has a raised glass ceiling with hanging foliage to allow plenty of light. The colour scheme of blues, black a little wood and modern almost Scandinavian styling.

Ohh Karen!! This is STUNNING!!! I'm in love with that entire snug/office area!! And it all started with that gorgeous opening shot with the fantastic deck! You have so thoughtfully created a perfect home for this water-loving photographer. I love the furnishings throughout and the color scheme couldn't be better. Every detail had me ooohing and ahhhing!! You've got a standing ovation from me -- I'm baffled that this slipped through the cracks and didn't place in the challenge.

A beautiful house with contained luxury that makes it very attractive. I think the work on the walls with the diversity of textures but within the same tonality makes the difference. An excellent project. Happy weekend dear Karen 😚🤗

What a spectacular house on the edge of the water this is!! And I believe you read the personality of this bachelor exactly right and gave him the polished design that he was looking for!! How could he not find happiness in this sleek and completely gorgeous house!! So well done!
