Pied-à-Terre in Warsaw, Poland

Task: an adaptation of a studio apartment with a total area of 34.5 m2 with a 20-square meter living room/bedroom and 8.5 m2 kitchen for the needs of a comfortable Pied-à-Terre for a couple of ex-pats during regular visits to Warsaw. The apartment is located in the old, green district of Warsaw's Żoliborz with parks and a boulevard by the river, but at the same time conveniently located close to the city center.

34.5 m is located on the second floor of a 70-year-old neat tenement house and although the total area is not large, the height of the apartment (over 3 m) gives a sense of space.
