Generally, dorms are tiny so I challenged myself to design one as spacious and equipped as possible. Having a kitchen is extremely important for me as I love cooking! Additionally, the idea of general washrooms scares me and I would hope to have my own in the scenario I move away for university!
The main room is spacious and has an open concept. It fits a bench, television, desk, bed and a kitchen.
I love the colour palette I've chosen for my dorm and I think it really looks great in this desk area. Gold, black, white and green are some of my favourite colours and I think look great when combined.
The inspiration for this bed came from my own bed. I have multiple pillows as well as a giant teddy bear that I would definitely take to a dorm room as I really can't sleep without basically being suffocated.
Having a kitchen overlooking the city would absolutely be a dream come true especially since I am a huge sunrise and sunset person!
I truly can't imagine living without a tv! Whether it's blasting music in the background while I cook/study or binging my favourite show, I consider tvs a necessity of life!
Honestly, this is quite an unrealistic amount of storage space as this wouldn't even fit half of my junk... Or so my mom says, I think that bringing every card, gift and small object I've ever received/found is quite essential in a dorm.
Sadly, I couldn't fit a shower into the limited space I gave myself... To the general showers I go :(
