#StPatrickContest: Paddywhack!
Is this a space designed for a green freak....or is it just a very special space for a person who really loves to be surrounded by shades of green because it's what feeds his souls and where he fins his roots. The client is a single man, Mr Bachelor, who loves water, loves nature and loves to cook. They used all this elements to design this space to his requirements and taste. They balanced the different greens with wood tones, or maybe visa versa. a Template, Tall single Living space , was used for the design. Ground floor was divided by big wooden screens into sleeping quarters on the one side and kitchen, dining area on the other side, which flows out onto a spacious balcony. Top floor was decorated as a spacious lounge with television area an fireplace. Big windows an all sides showcase the view.
On the front area of the property is a small garden area with a beautiful water feature.
This is the front door from the outside. Plants on the wall to create a feature.
The kitchen was designed for the man who loves to cook and to entertain. He wanted it to be compact but very functional and with enough space to enjoy the company of his guests while cooking for them.
The kitchen flows out on the balcony with it's magnificent view out on the water. Dining in this house is usually outside on the balcony.
Coming into the space, a small seating area for taking off your shoes and relax.
The house was filled with plants wherever possible.....on the floor and even on the walls!
This is the big wooden screens that divide the bedroom area from the kitchen/ dining area.
On the bedroom side you'll find a spacious bedroom area and dressing area and a bathroom. The sun comes streaming in from the big bay windows that was fitted for extra seating.
The big king size bed.....alas fit for the king of the house, Mr Bachelor!
A small desk area to keep in touch with work and all that jazz!
The view into the bathroom from the bedroom.
The lounge was fitted upstairs in the spacious loft room. Ample seating, fireplace, TV......what more?
The clock window was kept as part of the original building.
The shades of green balanced out with rich wood tones and cooler grey of concrete surrounds.
This is the picture that sell the house. A living green wall, a view that lasts forever and a drinks cart.....
On the balcony a good herb garden was planted for fresh ingredients....always a good choice for any cook!
Meals usually takes place outside....the al fresco way. Because there is no better way to enjoy it with all the extra perks like the view, fresh air and mountain breeze.
See....this is the good life!
The bathroom was fitted with a spacious shower and everything needed!
The shades and shapes of green makes a pretty picture....singing together in good harmony.
Thanks so much Rutchevelle!!

Dear Hester.. I honesty cant find words to do this design justice..so I wont even try. This SENSATIONAL design looked as if a professional photographer had been contracted to do a photoshoot of a ultimate luxury apartment to rent or buy. Every room, every angle, every detail was a glossy glamourized indulgence for the senses and i was awed by everything your laid before us. Stunning colours and lush scenery and incredible interiors ... it couldn't get any better!!!Bravo

Let me catch my breath!! You knocked this out of the park! What a winner of a design! I loved every wonderful square inch of this space. Gorgeous combination of greens and plants and scenery. The build of this home is just stunning, and you've furnished and fluffed it to perfection. I'm not going to single out any one room, because the entire space is breathtaking. Wow Wow Wow!!!
