#ValentineContest Cozy Core Apartment
I love designing tiny houses, and thought this one worked best as a high rise apartment.Cottage Core colors and comfortable furniture make me want to curl up in a chair with a cup of tea to visit with a friend. I had to use some work arounds, because the site would not allow me to attach the interior walls (it would not recognize both areas as rooms) but I like the way it turned out anyway. :)

Open, but separated living spaces allow you to feel connected to the rest of the apartment while still providing a sense of privacy.

The entryway makes you feel welcome by showing you a cozy living room where we can catch a glimpse of the city skyline.
The rug, seating arrangement and arched doorways help define the different zones. The kitchen, dining room and living room are easily accessible to each other, but still feel like separate spaces. Having two routes into each of the living areas improves flow and makes the small space feel larger.
The skyline is the star of the show in the dining area.
The kitchen is small enough to not overwhelm the space, and large enough to be fully functioning.
Containing the television in an enclosed space makes things more peaceful, and provides a more intimate space slightly removed from the rest of the living area.
The bedroom is unusual because it is enclosed by a bookshelf with no back and floor to ceiling curtains. The curtains can be drawn back to let light from the large bedroom windows to enter the living area.
Bedroom with spectacular views and a curved passage to the bathroom. The website would not allow me to take renders in the rounded parts of the room, so I can't show the bathroom.
The view from the entryway with the curtains pulled back. I love how tidy the space is and how connected everything feels.
The media room is lovely for curling up to watch your show, or snuggling in with a good book.
