Brown and Bronzed
Brown is often maligned and overlooked for interiors, sometimes considered dull, dark and boring so it was my objective with this interior to demonstrate exactly how beautiful brown can be. Using a range of materials from richly grained woods, to soft supple leathers through to textured tweeds this interior champions brown as a colour and highlights how versatile and diverse it can be.Floor Plan 248.7㎡
Irregular shaped rooms with large picture windows this one bedroom property with a courtyard sits within lush parkland. The hallway leads directly into either the kitchen or large living space with its asymmetric dimensions. From this room the master bedroom and bathroom are accessed.

Kitchen
The kitchen which doubles as a home office has a L. shaped range of kitchen units in off white to contrast with the deep brown flooring and tiling.
Behind the set-in seating banquette a glimpse of the abstract brown wallpaper that has been used in this kitchen and also the sitting room.
One side of the kitchen has been given over to a home office area.
A bespoke desk has been created from kitchen units and a work top and is teamed up with a comfy office chair in resplendent deep orange.
Hallway
The hallway with arched window has wood cladding on one side. Matt metallic accents have been used on much of the furniture trim and the striking marble effect unit takes pride of place.
A few musical themed objects possibly highlight the owners interests.
Master Bedroom
The bedroom has deliberately been furnished in lighter tones of mellow wood and has wall to wall mocha coloured carpet.
The bed is bedecked in masculine herringbone tweeds and textured woven yarns.
The room is almost triangular in shape and has a large picture window with rural views across the gardens.
Soft grained woods with Asian inset woven panels are used across the bedroom wardrobes and units.
Textures and tones used in coordinated harmony.
The bathroom is en-suite and has both jacuzzi bath and separate shower cubicle.
Accents of brown blend with honey toned mosaic tiles and artwork.
Courtyard
The courtyard is wrapped around the main living space and has two circular flower beds and two water features.
The planting has been confined to containers and the colours used to compliment the red brick walls that surround this courtyard.
Living and Dining Room1
Smooth leather seating, soft tufted rugs and an abundance of brown has been used to create this seating area.
The rich dark tones have been offset with accents of white and bronzed metallic trims on several items of furniture and the door trim.
The white leather chairs contrast beautifully with the deep browns throughout this room.
Feature fireplace and beautiful artwork make a striking feature.

Wow! This is such a chic, gorgeous design! You do masculine interiors so well! I love the super cool floor plan with the angles, and you always do the best bed linens! You chose such great accent colors to complement the brown, and that artwork in the dining/living area is perfect for this home. Absolutely stunning design!

Wow what an experience it was to tour this house!! I love the deep dark browns used so abundantly and boldly!! Love the dark floors and deep rich dark woods and then the surprise in the bedroom with the mellow tones of the rich oak finishes! The impact of that painting by the fireplace was heartfelt!! You did good my friend! Simply sophistication!!
