#PartyContest: New year's dreams in the city
Imagine yourself on New Year's eve having a small intimate dinner party with close friends, sharing a glass of wine and sharing titbits of life happenings in the year almost gone. And as the evening progresses, sharing wishes and dreams for a new beginning in a new year.....Imagine sitting there and see all the wishes and dreams and prayers of all the people in the city floating by in flock of pink balloons and flying higher and higher into the sky of possibilities.....!! Just imagine!!!!

The beehive house template was used for the design, keeping the area footprint as is, but adding another floor. On the bottom floor there's an open plan living room and kitchen with a small bathroom for guests. On the top floor a big master suite was added with a good landing space.

Master Bedroom
The master suite has ample storage and direct access to the small balcony leading out to the most wonderful city view.
Imagine lying in bed, dreaming of a good year....and there it flies out the window in a pink balloon.....

This is the living and dining room where the table was set for a small and intimate new years dinner party with very close friends.
Sharing is caring.....and being celebrated and cheered on by good friends is the best blessing anybody could pray for in the new year!
Sitting here in the special spot.......with your heart wide open to receive what was meant to be in this new year......
For the owner of this house, lighting a candle for loved ones was such a special ritual. On the wall on the left is the special bespoke candle holder where they made a ceremony to light candles for a good year for all the loved ones.

Imagine all the words and dreams and prayers that was shared by this small group of special friend lifting off and floating up and up the stairs and into the sky!

On the landing space they made this beehive storage unit for all those special and everyday items.
Part of the new year is to live responsible in your own home. Lots of light and enough green to sustain the planet.
And the floating dreams and prayers to sustain the soul and spirit.......

In the kitchen, keeping an eye on the clock......
On the wall you'll find one of the rules to live by.......
Master Bathroom
Master bathroom....big and spacious and with all you need to pamper your body......

Sitting in the special indoors balcony......and know with all this good wishes, all this prayers and all this blessings it will be a good year!
Bathroom
Downstairs bathroom. It was decked out with a shower as well as vanity and loo....just in case a sleepover on the couch was required!

Truly can relate to that. I have same thing I would think I would something simple or just one room ends up doing full house so I needed to choose the template that limits me as I started quite late. Thanks dear

Oh but you did a gorgeous design Rutchevelle! And I would not have mind only doing a two rooms, but then the design took over and demanded more! You know how it goes! I wish you a wonderful 2022!

what a treat to be a guest at this end of year gathering ...and what a treat for me personally to see this AMAZING transformation. Those who haven't used this original template will have no idea how brilliantly you've changed this space. The downstairs area looks gorgeous with the kitchen being my favourite room...but the real magic is the fact you extended upstairs to create a whole new level and in doing so gave this home the wow factor throughout. I find it incredible to think what you began with here and what the finished design looks like. Bravo Hester ..AWESOME design!!!

Wow, Hester, this is brilliant! I can't believe the template that's behind this. You transformed it so beautifully! I love that you added a second floor, and the whole staircase area is just incredible. And your narrative was so enchanting! Gorgeous design! This has got to be another win for you!
