Patio de Vecinos

Patio de Vecinos is a cultural centre in Madrid. The aim of this project is to create a space where neighbours can come together as in what we call in Andalusia a ＂patio de vecinos＂. It can be used as a gallery, a library and to hold courses, chats and small concerts. The main part of a ＂patio＂ is in the centre, where they place a fountain or a tree and this project tries to resemble that with a tree in the centre, which is rounded by a circular bench.
