This house was surrounded by green zones on each side of the house and therefore guarding it from the harsh concrete jungle. Follow the design to see how it was demonstrated in the pictures to follow. This is the green space that was created off the main bathroom and bedroom.
In this house they did not shy away from the rough concrete and steel, but embraced it and made it part of the design. In the main bathroom they paired it with mosaic tiles, mirrors and the raised wet area for the shower and bath, which flows out onto the green space that was created for it.
Steel glass doors leading out onto a green space.
The second bedroom with it's muted green tones working perfectly with concrete on the walls.
This is the second bathroom with it's big shower and the same muted green as in the spare bedroom makes a calm and serene space in the concrete jungle.
This is the green space at the entrance of the house.
Green space on the side of the house serving the main bedroom and office area.
The kitchen......and kettle is boiling.....coffee!!
This is the doors that flows out onto the biggest of the green spaces off the open plan living dining and kitchen area.
Sunlight streaming in from the big steel and glass doors.....and promise you fresh air and green space right outside.
On the back wall they kept the rough concrete finish, embraced it and made it part of a feature wall.
Plenty of seating in the living room.
The glass dining table can be pulled out into the space to accommodate guests for dinner.
From this area there is the view out on the small splash pool outside.
This is the Front entrance, raised on a platform.
This area was styled as an office area in the middle of the house. Plenty of seating and storage and direct access to the side green space.
This is the view from the bed and out onto the green space that surrounds the room on both sides. Shades of green and natural materials were used to clothe the room.
The natural wood headboard was bespoke and it captured her heart from the moment she saw it!
The artwork on the wall was made of geometric wooden shapes and so brilliantly done and the shapes was replicated in different decor elements in the room. The dressing area was partly enclosed by wall to create a more private area.
This is the biggest of the green garden areas of the house and it's off the living room. It was fitted with a small splash pool and plant wall to make it extra lush and inviting.
Small eating area outside for a bit of Al Fresco dining should one wants to!
The swing seat was what she insisted on having! Good for sitting and dreaming, but also for napping!

my words never adequately express the praise i want to shower on your designs Hester...your ability to create these stunning interiors always leaves me breathless. This industrial styled home was handled with such finesse and knowledge of not only how to get the best from homestyler, but also someone which a natural affinity to design, styling and getting the very best from each and every room. I'd change nothing in this stunning home ...just happy to look round it all in utter awe.!!!!

Oh my word, Hester! Where do I start? This is absolutely exquisite! Your skills with architecture blow me away. I can't even think of words for the master bedroom. Sheer perfection! And that office area is the most inviting, wonderful space! Both bathrooms are gorgeous, and the whole industrial vibe with the spaces of brick left in the interior -- I just love it all!!!
