The kitchen sits as the centre point with a utility room to the rear. A large corridor doubles as an office space with the bedroom and bathroom directly off this area. The living room/dining area is situated to the front of the building with views over the small front landscaped area.
one of the 2 entrances with paved frontage. small hedges and a host of foliage.
side view showing the irregular angles of the property
the kitchen is a subtle blend of slate green, untreated concrete and natural wood.
the corridor which runs through the property is open on most sides to the parkland which surrounds the home...letting natural light in to every room.
The bathroom has eastern influences with pagoda wallpaper, bonsai and palest jade porcelain.
The large L .shaped corridor doubles as an office space . It leads you from the front door and is a welcoming area of soft green, yellows and warm wood tones.
The bedroom is a departure from the other rooms in the fact that mirror flooring replaces the wood and green here as been used in very small quantities. White bedding and walls provides a crisp clean appearance. This is the only room that has the addition of curtains for just a little touch of priv
what a gorgeous setting to wake up to each morning, as the bedroom has French doors leading directly out onto the gardens
cork walkway through the lawns leads to an entrance onto the sitting room.
Large foliage adds drama, texture and extra privacy.
The bold green upholstery of the main living space is complimented with large leafy plants and lots of wood elements.
A touch of acrylic in the form of the dining table and overhead lights.
Large decorative panels act as artworks and give this interior a tropical edge.
open wood panels dissect the room.
a touch of soft apricot is thrown into this mix of tropical verdant greens.
Every home....space provided would love the addition of a utility room...with room for washers/drying facilities a loo and even space to keep your bicycle.
Wow! What a wonderful tour this was! Karen you created a space full of character and charm and surprises round every corner! The color palate was brave and bold and I loved the use of light and natural wood tones with all the bold greens! loved the modern style but also a touch of old world charm. So genius and well done!

Ohhh what a delight!! So much wonderful green! The pristine bedroom, the beautiful kitchen with the cozy little desk area, the gorgeous living room with the amazing sofas, that magical entry area with office space. And I love the Frank Lloyd Wright influence. Perfect for the green design. This is all kinds of gorgeous my friend!!
