modern elegance: studio apartment
This is a luxury studio apartment in the city. The height of the apartment made for the most glorious views for every time of day. First floor is a big and open plan kitchen, dining and living room with a small patio on the side. The impressive open staircase leads to a bedroom with a dressing room and bathroom. Balcony
So many good times out on the balcony/ small patio! Morning coffee in the slight breeze of the first morning light.....or to say goodbye to the day and to admire the hundreds and thousands of city lights appearing in the night sky!
Living and Dining Room
This is the main sitting area of the open plan living space. The colors in the selection of paintings on the wall perfectly reflects all the colors from the city outside and was played off against the mostly neutral color palette of the rest of the space.
In the background the yellow lights was chosen to bring a warm glow to the darker space under the staircase.
This the landing space on the staircase and with a clever little window, big enough for the perfect little meditation corner....looking out and contemplating the good life in the city.
Every corner of the space was used....hence the little reading nook under the staircase.
Tea and delicatessen served in style.....
The kitchen is well proportioned and well planned for a busy lifestyle in the city.
She fell in love with the figure on the pedestal......calling it her guardian angel.....And the warm glow of the light tempts you to enter the space and linger for a while longer....
Master Bedroom
This pictures shows all the views of the bedroom....from entering the room, into the closet room and sitting on the bed in early morning as shown in this picture.
Master Bathroom
Do one want a city view from the bathroom windows......of course!! Who wouldn't?
The bathroom is not spacious, but do have a luxurious feeling to it and the clever use of a mirrored wall against which the soaker tub is, made up for the loss of space.
Stairwell
This is the view from the top of the stairs al the way down and down and down into the city!
Top of the stairs and outside the bedroom door. The wall were not cluttered with art pieces....rather letting the art and decor items that were used make a bigger statement.
