Seventies inspired with sunken living room.
The challenge was to master the technique of creating a sunken living space. As this was a big trend in the seventies, wood veneer and seventies inspired wall paper was used to enhance the look. They also played on the furniture lines of that period.平面佈置圖 125.34㎡

Breakfast for two.......
The kitchen leads into a dining space.
Kitchen area in one corner of the open plan space.
The dining space with a view to the outside....but also a view into the sunken living space.
Two steps down and partially closed in by walls is the sunken living space. Wood veneer and terrazzo finishes on the floors.
The corner couch was partly built into the floor to make for a seamless look between the two spaces.

And this picture shows the flow from the kitchen to the dining space and into the sunken living space.
This is a little kitchen table if you want to call it that......just a little table for the lady of the house to sit down and have a cup of tea while catching up with admin. Also very handy to serve food or drinks while entertaining.
This is the space you find when entering the living space from the front entrance and hallway which was not done in this design. The wood veneer was used more lavishly here and created a feel of comfort and luxury.
This space is ideal to receive guests in a more formal setting.....or to just cozy up by the fire.......

Ohh, this is so me!! I want to move in now!! I love the sunken living room! The little kitchen table area is so charming, and the entry is beautiful!!! Such a fabulous tribute to the 70's!
