My thought was to create a simple but childish room, I had limited space to work with so I used a bunk bed for me convenient spacing. I also used a bean bag chair and lighting from the ceiling to create the illusion of more space, I chose some baseboards and molding as that follows the theme of the rest of my house in real life. I chose a wood floor as I have one currently.

I had a small closet in my room which I got rid of because it obstructed space, and I never really use that closet, I decided to put my desk and chair in the space it was before. The room is a simple rectangle,
