I am known for my darkly colored, cluttered builds. I stepped completely outside of my comfort zone to try to make this neutral, uncluttered, simple design. One bedroom, one bathroom, a living room with a reading nook, and a kitchen is all it contains.

Living Room
A simple couch and love seat here, with something I love: the Friesian horse painting.
Light, plants, and comfortable reading areas.
Here you see the small hallway that joins the kitchen, living room, front entrance, and the entrance to the bedroom beside the indoor water feater.
Bedroom
I suppose this could be a reading corner as well, though.
The little reading corner by the window and fireplace.
I needed some sort of plants in the bedroom, so I opted for a green wall rather than trying to use potted or hanging plants.
I had a fit of whimsy with the bean bag. That's the only bit of bright color in the bedroom - everything else is subdued.
I've always wanted a big walk-in closet and a fireplace in the bedroom. And a window to sit by and read!

Kitchen
I did try to keep things simple in here as well.
Plants are important to me, as well as lots of windows.
The kitchen is small, but functional for a couple.
