Dark and Warm - A Residential Interior Project
The house is one of my proposal projects for a small residential project soon to be launched. The house concept is Dark and Warm, which means to ensure the usage of dark-colored timbers and woods in the home interiors and to break the cliche of dark woods being outdated and retro-looking, using simple minimalist style to accentuate the dark woods more.平面布置图 147.52㎡
The plan simply has a living area, a kitchen, a small bathroom, and a single bedroom.

The kitchen may have the largest space in the house, automatically making the space the heart of the home.
The view of the kitchen can be seen through the living area.
The kitchen is big enough and has a bar seating area for the users to enjoy their meals simply in one space.
The main entrance is designed to have a separate space between the main entrance and the living area, acting as a 'small lounge' for the home.
The living area has a three-seater sofa which fills the entire area without needing to add other seating space, allowing better circulation for the user to reach from the kitchen to the entrance.
The 'small lounge', fits a glass shelf.
Even though the room only has one, but it is spacious enough.
The dark woods used as the baseboard making the area looks expensive yet still simple.
The desk area filled with natural sunlight seems comfortable enough for long work from home hours.
The study area is separated from the bed and the closet area with a bookshelf, which still the room looks spacious.
