We wanted to have a ranch style with a split floor plan, while keeping it as open as possible. Also, we were trying to keep our square footage around 1600-1700, because of this we had to make a few compromises. The main one being downstairs laundry.
Loving the barn door here!
The combination of shiplap and wood elements make this prefect for us.

Toilet on the left shower on the right.
It was hard to get a good shot of this, however behind the door is a water closet with toilet and shower, to make getting ready together easier.
Office/ craft spot
This eventually will be a kids room but when we move in it will probably be an office craft spot.
Angle from the bath
This will be the kids bathroom.
Here is another upgrade. I really wanted to have a hall tree/bench area.
This is the entry from the garage. The first door on the left is the stairs downstairs and the second is the half bath.

This is are boldest color in the house, hopefully it works out.
Let me know what you think?
I am in love with this dinning room!

Its a hallway what can I say.
This is our front door entry.
Another view of the dinning room.
Loving the grey and blues together here.
Check out that kitchen! Only thing it is missing is backsplash (I couldn't figure that out).
Also check out that mud room...
This is where the open concept comes in. I wanted everyone to be together, so whether you are cooking, relaxing or eating at a gathering you are all together!
Small but useful.
This is one of the upgrades we made to this plan. Our thoughts were that it would be nice for there to be a bathroom right by the door.
Again just stairs to the bonus room.
So cute!
This is another kids bedroom. This one set up like a nursery.
