Apartment with Loft - Take 1
This is my first attempt at creating a second floor, so go easy on me.
This top-floor apartment features a single bedroom as an above-kitchen loft space, which overlooks the dining and living room areas. There is a single bathroom perpendicular to the entrance door.
I wish there was a railing option that matched the railing of the spiral staircase, but sadly there was not.
View from loft. Pretty nice view, isn't it? A western exposure would be brutal for this apartment, however.
This is the loft bedroom.
Ignore the sky light. It's only there so the images wouldn't turn out terribly dark (which they still kind of did). But, in reality, with those windows, you should be getting plenty of light in this space.
Kitchen. Steel countertops, because if you're going contemporary, go unapologetically contemporary.
That sink is my dream sink.
Sometimes, cats make a great decorative feature. :D
I tried to make the living area as bright and airy as possible, but my love for black-and-white contrast is evident nonetheless.
This is the loft (located above the bathroom).
Obviously not the bathroom, but I've yet to discover a way to designate a different room name to the spaces above rooms.
