The House

Wanaka, New Zealand provided the inspiration for this design. The overall design aesthetic was influenced by rural, rustic, and environmental elements using a warm autumn colour palette, soft and hard textures through the use of leather, hides, wool, art, polished concrete floors, metal, and wood.

I wanted the living areas to be separate from the bedrooms. I needed to have a Master Retreat so I have added this at one end of the house. I created a large open plan living space that has the flexibility to be separated with a formal lounge.
