Richard's Studio Apartment: Concept 01
A studio apartment with 70's inspired furnishings and decor based upon an original character of mine and a story I'm currently writing.Plan d'étage 70.5㎡
I created this small space with the intention of making a believable living space for an original character of mine. Richard Walker is a mellow guy living in the 1970s, and I wanted his space to be reflective of his lifestyle, which is minimal with touches of pop-ish art and furnishings.

This was supposed to be a balcony, but I later took it out of the final design. I liked what I was able to achieve with it temporarily, but overall, I think it detracted from the look of the apartment.
The master bathroom in the daytime.
I wanted to see how dramatic the lighting would affect the look of the second bathroom in the evening.
A stack of books/magazines lies in the corner.
The master bedroom, complete with small, mid-century styled end tables and matching lamps.
The second bedroom, which feels much more like a den in the final renderings.
A view from the kitchen, allowing for natural light to come in through the front window.
Once again, I wanted to see how the main living area would appear with no artificial lighting, and I quite like the look of the space.
