For this kitchen bespoke cabinets were made for the owner. They used a combination of a black wood grain veneer and a medium tone real wood to achieve the modern country feel that was the goal. The wood tones was paired with more industrial elements like the steel doors and other metal finishes. The space was divided into three sections namely a laundry room, a work station area and the main kitchen area which opened up into a living space. The dining table was made part of the kitchen island like a good old kitchen table!

580.59㎡ I used the HS no 6 Bohemian template for the basis of this home. It was really fun extending and changing the interior almost completely apart from the ceiling to create this cottage.. and decorate a home in a restful tones of mellow softness, pale olive green, beiges and cream ,shades that evoke peacefulness. Fabrics throughout the cottage are mostly linens and natural woven or knitted fabrics. Somewhere along the renovation i began to image this property was somewhere in France, so come on in and wander round and there’s lunch being served on the picnic table outside if you like to join me.

The idea was to take the mountain with all it's layers as inspiration and then build a house from that mountain showing off all the compacted layers of earth as a focal point in the house. They balanced it out with the rich wood tones and the industrialness of black steel. They styled the house with a collection of items that has the wild of nature in mind. Rather eclectic in the choice thereof.

Kitchen and Dining in an Outdoor Setting .Minimal design in the sense that less is more, and it favors neutral. It's all about natural light, white color room to make the space feel even airier. Accent colors warmer beige or light brown. True blues and crisp whites for a Mediterranean like feel. Warm whites and pale blue-green shades for a country coastal mix; bright coral paired with sky blue for an refreshing coastal style.

San Galgano converted after a disordered youth, retired to life as a hermit for penance. The culminating moment of the conversion took place on Christmas day of 1180, when Galgano, who arrived on the Montesiepi hill, set out his sword in the ground, to transform the weapon into a cross. In the roundabout there is a boulder from whose cracks a sword handle. Hence the legend of King Arthur and the knights of the round table and the sword in the rock.

When looking at the winter landscape it seems to be sleeping.. recharging its batteries for the year ahead. In past years I have tried to escape to a rural cottage to share the quiet drowsiness of each new year. A place to celebrate the stark beauty of our winters and to join mother nature as she replenishes her strength to face the coming year ahead. This little cottage is exactly the type of place I'd choose for my January escape.

It is known for being a romantic and rustic style that is dominated by natural materials, particularly unfinished stone and dark woods such as mahogany, chestnut and walnut. The colour scheme tends to be neutral but warm, with various hues of red or orange used as accent colours. Arches feature throughout the space, as does wrought iron, particularly within the light fixtures.

143.59㎡ An old house with complex geometry, it is unclear what year it was built. Whoever built it was a big joker. The 2nd floor had no second light and was divided into several rooms. The dormer window was smaller and with little glazing.

Key features of English country design include traditional furniture such as the Chesterfields sofa, furniture from different time periods and different parts of the world, stacked artwork of landscapes and flowers, various kinds dark, high quality wood, the use of panelling or molding, luxurious fabrics such as velvet, leather and silk, the use of Persian or Oriental rugs, and of course, a fireplace!
