Songs of Fall: The Warmth of the Porch presents the entrance terrace as a living extension of the home and a natural transition between contemporary architecture and the autumn garden. The design treats autumn not as a decorative backdrop, but as an essential part of everyday life outdoors. Natural wood, woven furniture, plaid textiles, pumpkins, seasonal fruit, dried flowers, ornamental grasses, and colorful foliage create a layered yet refined atmosphere of harvest, hospitality, and comfort. The porch becomes a welcoming place for conversation, reading, and quiet moments, while the fire-pit deck beneath the birch trees and the poolside seating continue the experience into the garden. Light is central to the project. During the day, golden sunlight filters through the foliage and fills the terrace with warmth. At blue hour, the glow of the interior passes through the glass doors and merges with lanterns, candles, soft landscape lighting, and the fire pit. The contrast between the cool autumn sky and warm light from the house creates a feeling of shelter and belonging. Fallen leaves remain naturally scattered across the steps, deck, and garden paths, preserving the fleeting, authentic character of the season. The project brings together architecture, interior atmosphere, landscape, and seasonal décor in one cohesive composition. Autumn begins outside, but true warmth always comes from within the home.

The home comes with six total bedrooms (One Master(connected to the nursery), 4 primary bedrooms, and one guest room that is also secluded with it's own guest room and can be used as a suite for grandparents), 4 bathrooms, an office, an in home gym, laundry room, pantry, family and living rooms, upstairs lounge, dining room, large kitchen, and mud room.

800.80㎡ My client has a Mexican-inspired coffee shop in Arizona. She requested a modern outdoor patio with Mexican inspired accents. Terracotta tile or Saltillo tile is a widely used material in outdoor settings in Mexico. I created windows on the exterior wall using breeze blocks made from terracotta to add interest against the fresh white walls. Bright flamingo-pink tones were used on the fireplace and accent walls to bring the traditional Mexican colors into the outdoor space. Finally, black and white tiles were added to create a modern aesthetic.

Splashes of pinks, purples, yellows and sky blues are making this design more feminine and can be used in an actual spaces. The themes of nature throughout the house gives it a more refreshing feel. This Barbie Dream House is what I think will suit an owner with a more feminine taste but still want her space to be functional and pleasant to look at.
