So, the story behind this is that a woman got married and then divorced and she had a child. So, she didin't want her child to grow up in darkness, but she wanted darkness. Then, she set up all of these low toned colours in paintings, so her kid would not grow up in complete darkness. And, the painting above her bed is a painting that her husband, an artist
who supplied all of the photos and paintings, painted. It is a portrait of the woman.
