Essentially glamourous this style of decor is that of the 30s-40s, and the period the film "The Great Gatsby" was set in. Many theatres adopted this style of drapes, lighting, and wall plasterwork. If all that is said of the time was true I wish I had been there! Just love the costumes and dancing, the decor and the art!
