18x38 remastered
The idea is not decor' but how to fit a garage, kitchen, bathroom, wet room ( laundry area, yes ppl stil do wash by hand 21st century still is coming), bedroom, livingroom, stairs, some sort of storage in 18x38. Where I am, this is standard side by side housing w up to 3 story with a roof patio that is required to have 50% of roof space dedicated to some sort of roof top garden( that no one will ever check to see if they do). So, in a joint family system, still popular, housing markets tight, and even land for development vs food security utility my focus was on space function rather than looks. Devided the space as per requirement of the local housing authority. Not an easy task for the size and the functionality expected by the development and housiing authority. But I think this works...
The amount of "space" is the main quality.. By replacing the traditional bed with a Murphy bed and having "in floor" storage as well as a walk in closet, as well as bifold doors, this adds another room to utilize when not in sleep mode. A fold out dinning table nests the tv console.
bifolds for the closet opening.. the Murphy bed is down, nighty, night...
The bed is up and away, and maybe need the extra room for guests, need extra seating as well? storage benches are in the hallway and are stunning.. The ottoman in the livingroom doubles as the coffee table...
The program will not allow items to be also "sunken" but, seen is meant to be dranage vents for the wet room.
wood or carpet? I could not decide, but this is the rough draft with a nice contrast of black and white with wood tones in the living room area.
walk in closet can be seen, curtain or bifold? Which would you choose? in the end I went with a Bifold for the final look. Under the stair storage is a must and blends in. In the floor storage is a good idea....
In warm climate areas, vents for air flow is a must but often not required and seen as additional expense leaving brick and concrete structures circulating heat via the ceiling fans. The open to sky areas are often also closed off as a seprate room with a solid door and a small window.
sliding screens to allow air flow yet allow also for privacy. slide open to allow full sun and or air flow in, with the kitchen window open, there can be a pulled draft from back to front/front to back.
finished with furniture. Needs books and some decore...
love the colors and the rug, the wall work/lunch table can be mounted on the wall for extra space...
a bit of table artwork... very nice and functional... the shelving under the window is also a nice place to display spices and maybe a couple of mint plants...
with ot without track lighting? I have seen track lighting and a ceiling fan used like this for a small space and thus felt, since I do like to cook I know lighting is important..
Track lighting it is... and it stays..... doing the dishes, no opps I missed a spot with extra good lighting...
the same flooring for the bathroom is in this wet room. Again the vents will not sink with the flooring and thus hovers, but it is meant to be dranage vents for water.
The lamps, the colors, just lovely.. and with a small behind the sofa console, cellphone charging station and maybe even storage for electronics like the remote for the TV or any other divice... Built in speakers for that sorround sound ... or..... "Hey Alexa"....lol
Bathroom is not exciting as it is a wet bath, but it is colorful for a small space....
Cute place! With some items you can get them to sink into the floor/outdoor area by going to 3D view and using the blue arrow to adjust elevation while you are holding down the CNTRL key. I've done a lot of crazy stuff sinking things partway into the floor or lawn. :)
