The main design of this house is an open concept design with various lounge areas to make the place more lively. This is a 4 bedroom house with a finished basement that includes a home gym.

Bedroom

This bedroom was designed with the intention of it being a children's bedroom. It is bright and colourful, with a couch as an alternate place to relax where they can still be in their own space.

Office

I decided to add a home office on the second floor since it fit with the floor plan and would ensure that the surrounding environment wouldn't be too loud. Since the second floor is all bedrooms, it should, for the most part, be a quiet floor to work on during the day.

Bathroom

This is the first floor bathroom. There are different coloured walls in this bathroom to make up for the few decor pieces this room has to offer.

Living Room

The main concept of the basement was for it to be a lounge area where people can go to hang out. The main area of the basement has a pool table, dart board, and TV area for entertainment. There is also a reading corner where you can relax, provided the rest of the basement isn't occupied.

Laundry Room

This is just a simple laundry room in the basement that has an attached sink in case you need to hand wash anything. The bench in this room can be used as an area to put laundry temporarily, but it was mainly placed there as a spot to sit while sorting and folding laundry.

Third Bedroom

This bedroom has a large bed that fill the centre of the room. The large closet provides optimal storage so you don't need a lot of other furniture pieces. The windows make the room feel very open and bright, shining light on the wall decor being displayed.

Second Bedroom

This bedroom was more designed as a guest bedroom. I added the chair in the corner to give the guest an alternate place to sit. The accent wall makes the room feel less empty by defining the sitting corner as a separate part of the room.

Floor 2 Bathroom

This is the main bathroom on the second floor. It has a bathtub and shower head, and the window brings in sunlight, making it feel bigger than it is.

Ensuite Bathroom

The ensuite bathroom is connected to the master bedroom. I added a shower for convenience and paintings to make the walls not feel so empty.

Master Bedroom

My idea for the master bedroom was to create a simple and open design. This room has a large closet and a full standing mirror to showcase your outfits and start your day off right. The many windows brings in a lot of sunlight which is a good contrast to the dark accent wall.

Garage

I added a plant and a map in the garage so that the garage's aesthetic matched the fancy cars that are parked inside it. I included a door for internal garage access from the house.

Gym

Adding a gym fit well with the design of the basement. I like that it is separate from the rest of the basement, but isn't closed off. The large mirrors on the one wall make the room feel larger, especially since I chose a darker colour for the walls.

Basement Bathroom

The basement bathroom is also fairly simple and has the essential features that a bathroom needs. I particularly like the way the circle rug contrasts with the floor and the vanity.

Living and Dining Room

The open concept kitchen, dining, and living room on the first floor allows a lot of natural sunlight to come in and pass through the whole house. The different seating options in the living room give the room a unique feel.

Hallway

The upstairs hallway also has a living area, since I felt it was necessary to have a place to sit on each floor. There is also a piano in that area to enhance the experience of those lounging on this floor, provided someone can play the piano.
