#MedicalCareContest: Heartbeat Wellness Centre
Heartbeat is a small privately owned wellness practice in the city. Inside you'll find offices for doctors to consult patients, a small recovery ward for overnight procedures and to maintain good patient care. There are different waiting room areas that was designed for the comfort of loved ones who are the support system of the patients. The interior of the practice was specifically designed with the comfort of patients and visitors in mind to maintain a mood of tranquility while still keep it elegant and sophisticated.

On the ground level: Reception, waiting room, doctor's offices with cubicles, bathrooms and recovery ward. Elevators was fitted to transport visitors and patients up and down.
Top floor: Landing zone for the emergency helicopter, patient transport area, well equipped waiting area and balcony.

Space Showcase 42 Renders
This is on the front of the clinic. Ambulance company ready to dispatch patients to and fro.
The building has a modern appearance and was surrounded by carefully selected planters which is also serving as seating for visitors.
This is a little courtyard corner which is visible from the inside of the ward and perfectly designed with a water feature and planting to create a feeling of calm and hope to the patients inside.
Landing Zone
The landing zone was created on the roof of the building for the emergency helicopter to land.
Second Bathroom
This is one of the bathrooms which was created in the downstairs waiting area for the use of visitors.
Consulting2
One of the two doctor's offices and the door leading into the cubicle where examinations are done.
Bothe the doctor's offices were kept in the same color scheme of white an the lightest of aqua tones. A rich wood tone was added in selected areas to bring a little bit of warmth.
Balcony
The balcony on the top floor was designed for the comfort of the patients and visitors to get some fresh air and a bit of sun while they are processing the pain and discomfort of not being well.
Seating was provided as well as trees and plants.
This is the inside of the examination cubicles. Both doctor's offices has the same.
Bathroom
This is another downstairs bathroom in the waiting area. Both were done in an elegant and sophisticated way.
Reception/Waiting
In this picture you'll see the front entrance, to the left are the two doctor's offices and to the right the doors of the two elevators which will transport patients and visitors to the second level. Also to the right is the coffee station for the necessary refreshments.
Coming in from the entrance straight forward is the reception desk where the highly capable and professional receptionists are ready to receive you and to process all the admin as efficient as they can not to add any extra strain or stress.

This is the waiting area on the ground level and just to the side of the reception desk. Big and comfortable and with the well being of patients and visitors in mind.

This is the second of the doctor's rooms.
Bathroom3
This is the bathroom in the recovery ward and was created for the use of patients. Big shower, and with the same sophisticated elegance of the rest of the spaces.
Recovery Ward
The small recovery ward that was created for overnight patients, to keep them in good care.
From the hospital beds the view are out into the little courtyard with the water feature and planting.
They used the soft blue and warmed it up with the warm tones of natural wood.
In the ward a little vanity area was created for the all important hygiene!
This is the patient reception area on the top floor with the elevators and the wide hallway to maneuver hospital beds to and from the landing zone with ease.
The waiting area on the top floor was created with a bit of a homely feeling and with a little kid's corner for the comfort of the whole family. And of course there's the coffee and cooldrink station available for refreshments.

Fabulous! What accuracy of details! What an elegance! The exterior is beautiful but also the various rooms, really perfect, very good!

Well if you ever needed a medical facility then they don't come much more sleek and stylish than the Heartbeat Centre. It was so downright gorgeous in parts of this building that i had to keep reminding myself this was a hospital premises. Your first shots of this place had me assured I was going to be in very safe hands at a state of the art facility. Beautiful manicured exteriors led on to a wonderful entrance and reception area... beautifully decorated in a great mix of woods and soft soothing colours. everything from the cloakrooms, consulting rooms to the ward itself had been meticulously planned and presented. My favorited area was the waiting area with the chic navy sofas but in all honesty non of this interior would have looked out of place in a very stylish hotel. FABULOUS designing Hester and another very beautiful assignment!

I cannot believe how much I'm loving a medical design!! This is incredible! So beautiful and serene, so well thought out with such thoughtful attention to detail. The crisp, clean white and grey is softened so beautifully with the aqua tones and wood features. I love the plantings and water feature for the patients and their families, and the lounge area is gorgeous!! Great job on the exterior! I'm especially impressed with that helicopter landing pad! Fantastic design!
