The open concept for the Living, Dining, and Kitchen Room makes the house look welcoming (you can easily get around). The laundry room is across the kitchen for easy access and next to the main bathroom, which is easy to get to from anywhere in the house. The hallway gives way for getting in rooms.
A pleasant backyard with a beautiful view. Shadow on the patio area for comfort, and colorful plants to make it pop. A fountain in the background acts as a fence but also a decorative piece.
A comfortable workspace with colors that are easy on the eyes. A chair and table is beside the desk for relaxing, and there are three different bookshelves for storage.
A dark area/shadow over the bed for the baby to sleep in peace, with a light area by the play section. Inspired by a Montessori-style bedroom where all the furniture is low.
A four-piece bathroom with a shower, tub, toilet, and sink. A wooden baseboard is used to contrast with all the white materials, and a couple of plants are put in for decoration. It is laid out in a way that is easy to maneuver around.
The laundry room is small but contains shelves for storage, a washing machine, and a dryer. It also has an idea board and the empty spaces are filled with plants that soak in the sunshine.
A small front entrance to put away clothes and a mirror. There is a wardrobe and shoe rack as well. The visitor sees the living room and dining room as soon as they enter!
The living room has a feature wall painted orange and a white bookshelf with a TV, which is slightly shadowed to prevent glare. Plants are placed around for green accents and a window gives natural sunshine out.
The open concept connects the living room to the kitchen and dining room.
A hallway to the left of the living room has separate bedrooms and an office. It's a quieter section of the house.
Decorations through the hallway.
The end of the hallway has a window for sunlight and a stool for resting, or to read a book on!
A closet for the couple, with storage baskets, three wardrobes, and a full-size mirror. The window is a nice addition for the mornings when the couple gets dressed up!
Since this bathroom has no windows, I put in lots of lights. Neutral colors are used with a couple plant paintings.
The master bedroom has a wall background that draws the viewer in, with two abstract paintings. A large window is right at the front with a curtain. Various shelves and dressers complement the room and there is a lounge chair at the corner. Plants adorn the wall.
