GREAT-GRAND PARENTS' WEEKEND HOUSEBesh wallpaper tapestry with flowers everywhere reminds me of my great-grandparents’ weekend dweling. They bought the place almost one century ago. Then it was just a small house situated on the top of a hill surrounded with vineyards.
With this images in my mind I started a design much bigger than original house yet maintain its vitage rural appearance.
In the far right lower corner we can see a 16m2 big room wich is the old dweling. Every other room is yet to be build.
First view as we walk into the room we are presented with stark daylight ambience and a warm feeling from heated rustic fireplace. It's reading area inside dinning area with an wide open passage towards kitchen and living area.
Black wood fireplace is situated on the wall with dark red brick background, giving warmth from wood burning inside.
Dinning area must always be bright with a nice view down the vineyards during summertime or white plains in wintertime.
Dark green colour was my grandmum's favourite.
Wooden divider creates some privacy in the living area, yet makes room brighter as light can pass through.
Wooden appearance with brightly lit ambience gives a rustic tuch together with furniture, while still being able to enjoy modern style of living.
