My idea behind this space was to showcase an urban loft of someone who wants both the city life and a home. The floor plan needed to be open yet cozy.
The raised bedroom platform keeps with the open concept but also showcases the bedroom in a specific or private space. Because this room doesn't have a closet, I felt that the dresser was an important piece to place within the room, but I also didn't want the space to feel too cluttered.
This image showcases the beautiful and thick curtains in the bedroom. With so many windows, I felt that the owner of this space may want to block the incoming light closest to the bed so that they could choose to keep out the sun and sleep in.
This image showcases the modern and cozy velvet couch. While this living space is smaller, I felt it deserved its own space in the loft. The round rug and table pull together the rounded edges of this couch.
This unique city loft utilizes the space to its full potential by adding wall niches. This arched niche is another way to tie together the roundedness of the couch and other pieces.
This image showcases the full potential of the living room and its closeness to the open concept kitchen and bathroom.
I love this zoomed in shot of the couch and how it really shows the textures utilized within the living room.
This image was shot from a corner of the kitchen that really showcases he beautiful corner fireplace that adds warmth and a bit of a homey feel to the city loft.
This image showcases the view the owner might see from a relaxing bath.
This image showcases the gorgeous deep and dark tub as well as another view the owner might see from their bathroom.
The bathroom included it's own wall niche to brighten and open up the space.
This modern and sleek kitchen has a very luminous cabinet unit that increases the openness of the space by reflecting and mirroring the lights from the chandelier and the windows.
With this image I really wanted to showcase the stunning island chandelier and the views from the sink and stove.
