Cast Away

Can we live in a house that's the size of a shipping container? This was the question I wanted to answer. The house has a bedroom, bathroom, wardrobe, kitchen and dining and also a place to entertain a few close friends. A poet who prefers solitude and simple living lives in this house. During the day, the poet spends time being entertained by books or by the calm scenery visible throughout the living and dining space.

The floor plan is very simple. There is a gradation from public to private spaces. As soon as one enters the home, they find the public space which is the cozy living room with books. Then comes the dining space which is a little more private. Beyond the dining space's the most private part of home.
