On the Atlantic
For this house, I wanted to design with a Cape Cod influence. I picture this being on the Atlantic, in New England, with some details such as shiplap, wainscoting, natural fibers, and treasures found from beach combing as accessories.
A single-story, 1 bedroom, 1 bath vacation home with a butler's pantry and lounge as bonus rooms
A lounge in the center of the home is a place to gather with family and friends to talk about the day's activities
The lounge is surrounded on all sides by glass doors - accessible from the beach, living room, master bedroom, and hallway.
A pair of comfy, weathered adirondack chairs to relax and enjoy the front porch
I've kept all of the seating low throughout the house to best accommodate for the views
An inviting window seat with lots of cushy pillows
There are a couple of steps down into the living room. Built-in bookcases flank the steps.
All of the collections in this vacation home are personal memories - such as mementos from happy days of sailing
The front door into the entry hall, stepping down into the living room
A corner in the living room is a nice spot to grab a book from the shelf, a cup of tea, and enjoy a good read
720°
A panorama of the living room area
This hallway goes toward the bedroom and bath
The bathroom has a wonderful red claw-footed tub, and set the tone for a little whimsy on the walls
Copper finishes go well with the seaglass blue
The entire house is done in colors of the seashore - sand, sun, and sea
A writing table is built into the headboard to add a compact space to journal the happy events of the day
A spacious window seat is perfect for a catnap after a day of swimming
Nice, crisp white linens
A fireplace sits between the door to the bedroom and the closet
The glass doors go into the lounge. Folding screens with a wave pattern offer privacy when needed.
The kitchen is compact, but with the added butler's pantry, there's room for everything
A narrow glass table is perfect for breakfast
The entry hallway facing the direction of the kitchen, dining, and butler's pantry. Watch your step!
Evening on the front porch
The butler's pantry is all white. A sink for prep work or to cut flowers from the garden for a pretty vase. There's a small built-in desk to go through recipes and make out the grocery lists.
Plenty of storage for the china and serveware
Butler's Pantry - taken from the hallway for a wider view
Dining Room - taken from the hallway

I was transported to Cape Cod in a heartbeat Winnie and each room in your home only seem to draw me deeper under its south west cost spell. I could so imagine sitting on that porch listening to the waves but the real magic began as i stepped inside. Ohh WOW how flawless the style was to set the tone in each room. So much wonderful detail and bespoke furnishing to dwell upon. I thought each room was stunning... perhaps the dream of a bedroom was my ultimate favourite...perhaps... but i honestly loved EVERYTHING and EVERY room.. gorgeous bathroom, fantastic kitchen and such a comfortable sitting room...as i told you Winnie you do relaxed living BRILLIANTLY!!!

How amazingly wonderful is this authentic beach house! Love how the whole house was a testimony of having a holiday at the ocean, on the beach and all the personal touches pulling at all the heartstrings!! The house was well constructed and the styling impeccable! And my words sounds not enough to say how well done it is!!!
