The Artists Loft is an open style playground for the creative couple inspired by renovating an old industrial building into a rustic high ceiling condo that acts as a blank canvas for the owner. The space exudes serenity and creative expression for the mind, body and soul, with each area uniquely crafted for comfort and expression, whether painting, dance, gymnastics, music production, culinary arts, literary exploration or games. A soft and warm design with artistic installations that inspire and enrich, while remaining spacious and functional.

The layout is completely open to allow maximum light to fill the space and create an environment of spaciousness, both physically and representatively mentally, and spiritually as well. Shapes like circles and hexagons, used throughout the space, imbue a sense of continuity and stability.

The main room common bathroom is a majestic environment, outfitted with an in-floor aquarium and coy fish, the eastern iconology of peace and tranquility; the natural stonework covering the walls and the chimney style vaulted ceiling with hanging plants makes it feel like a natural cavern.
In-laid in the stone work are back-lit chunks of amethyst and salt rock to enhance your cavern bathroom experience. The ceiling has been cut out and replaced with a full skylight to let natural light fill the room and extend into the upstairs walk-in closet.
Mood lighting at night using hidden warm orange and purple lighting that cascades from the frosted glass hexagon art installation and the in-laid amethyst and salt rocks.
Beautiful angle for morning and evening sunrise and sunset to enjoy your morning coffee in luxury or your evening bath in open air.
The outdoor balcony is truly an extension of the master bedroom via the great wall windows, the folding retractable patio doors, the custom pergola with glass star lens and the custom corner jacuzzi with mirrored finish wall water fountain.
A meditative space with a painting corner, the cozy fire nook, a social area with a chess board, a home office / music production studio space, a gymnastics centre, retractable silks, a dance floor and yoga spot, highlighting the diversity of the human creative condition.
The secretive second level loft extension accessible through the master walk-in closet nests a cozy reading / study nook, as well as a home theatre space fit with the projector and remote controlled retractable viewing screen.
Note the custom inverted wood pillar totem chandelier in the grand foyer making the space feel prominent and strong, yet elegant and natural.
Walking into the Artists Loft you are immediately taken by the breathtaking art installations that express forms of nature and continuity and playfulness. Each feature has been carefully crafted with lighting and functionality in mind.
The kitchen and natural living wall is a culinary and hosting dreamscape, fit with an under-lit floating floor to give the impression of elevation floating in the clouds while cooking or hosting. Additionally, the distressed wood and quartz material selection is a complimentary soft statement.
Movement and flow are constant themes throughout this design, with the whole main space feeling like a blank canvas of possibilities. The open cottage style kitchen accessibility aids in showcasing the simplicity and minimalism that can be experienced in a smaller open space.
The body movement floor hosts a swing and retractable silks to provide a beautiful space for motion and exercise and body expression with an incredible view of the city and plenty of light to soak up. It is also the perfect place to host friends with music to dance and a yoga matt to stretch,
View from the reading nook in the upper secret loft. Notice the custom drop ceiling molding with recessed lighting fit directly into the old rafters to complete the feeling of security and comfort, without congesting the space.
The home office / music production studio enables the creative to pour out their passion into an open space ready to take the vibrations, with a custom DJ booth and integrated home stereo equipment carefully positioned throughout the home.
The wall and sculpture art installations help curate inspiration and feelings of culture as one decides to enjoy a little gaming or cozy up beside the fire in the custom cement furniture alcove, covered in furs and silks.
The ultimate portal of peace. The circular stone work with the mirror expands the space and the spirit.
The custom on-suite master bath is fit for relaxation with the built-in sauna, and cavern lighting settings with amethyst and salt rock.
Raw cedar planks compliment the quartz stone and white washed brick for a polished rustic feeling of luxury. The his and hers sinks and raw edge wood mirrors vanity is a natural extension of union and peaceful existence; fit with a direct flush toilet and bidet.
View from the master bed over the city, a grand space, kept open to create a feeling of breathing room and flying into the open sky, with wide sliding door to extend onto the private balcony. The custom pergola holds a glass lens that magnifies the sun on clear days and the stars on clear nights.
The head piece for the master bedroom is a wooden canvas for abstract dreams, represented by the custom acrylic back lit shaped pieces mounted above the sleeping residents. Note the spiral staircase to the upstairs shared walk-in closet and the private bridge to the secret home theatre loft.
The private master walk-in closet with his/hers sections and a hidden stacked washer/dryer laundry unit for immediate clothing accessibility. The frosted glass hexagonal art installation allows light from the bathroom skylight into the closet.
