Ich erstelle meine Designs auch nur mit der Free version in Customize-Interior modeling Beta. Es dauert zwar ziemlich lange und ist bei komplizierten Dächern eher ungenau, aber wenn man sich zeit nimmt und alles langsam zeichnet, geht es ganz gut.

Heey,
Thanks a lot for the reply! I think maybe I just need to play around with HS more often and I'll figure it out.
I've trying to look for videos that teach how to make outside structures like the outside walls, roof, etc. I keep seeing really impressive projects from other creators and thought most of them were uploaded as CAD from other softwares like Sketchup.
If there were any helpful tutorials, could you kindly share them?

I don't quite understand, but I don't upload my structures, I just do a lot of improvising with whatever I have. For the patio, for instance, I used blocks (I changed their color to bricks) and stacked them gradually to get the stone fence on some sides. On the walls, I built the bavarian pattern in interior modeling and for the pond, I used a round-shaped object and turned it into the glass. For the color of the water, I took another round object (painted it in the color I wanted my pond to be in) and put it just beneath the glass one.
So, as you see, it was a lot of improvising.

I have a question. I am new so I am still experimenting a lot. I have finished my first floorplan project, but I am still trying to figure out how you guys do the external structure here on Homestyler?
Is it all created here? or do you upload it from somewhere else and like do the finishing touches?
