Lake House Top Floor

Public areas of the cottage, living room with plenty of seating and lots of natural light. Entrance into the dining room. We also have a den which will be for the game room. The entire floor is surrounded by a wrap around deck, where there is a bistro set for breakfast overlooking the lake.

This will be where we set up the games, so if it's raining or chilly one evening, we can sit in here and play group games like Mario Kart or something.

Unnamed space

I wanted the dining area to still be beautiful even though it is a cottage. I LOVE having flowers all over the house, so there will always be fresh and fake flowers. I also love the big open windows to keep the lighting beautiful and natural.

This is the kitchen and dining area. The entrance of the house is here, so I can come in and quickly get the groceries for the weekend put away. I wanted the house to be glamorous, but not over the top. Through the kitchen is also the way to the laundry room and upstairs bathroom.

Living Room

I wanted the living room to look out over the lake, and have lots of natural lighting. I love a neutral design, so everything is white and cream with some pops of color. I wanted lots of seating for us to relax and talk and watch a movie or something. A living room is the most important social area.

The goal of this house is to have lots of natural light, with lots of white, and neutral colors for the decor. A fireplace for me is a must in any living room. Since this is the top floor, the deck is actually the balcony, which covers the deck on the bottom floor. This deck has seating for watching the sunset, and a bistro set for having your meal overlooking the beautiful lake. The kitchen and dining room are open concept so that we can gather in the kitchen while making breakfast and enjoying a coffee. There is also a bathroom and laundry room on this floor.
