If thereโs one thing I love, itโs creativity. Well, that and a perfectly fluffed pillow on a well-designed sofa. Luckily, the 2024 Homestyler APP Platform competitions brought us both. This year was a whirlwind of talent, design drama, and more color palettes than you could shake a paintbrush at. Letโs dive into what made this year so spectacularโand why Iโm convinced interior designers are secretly superheroes.
๐งก116 Competitions. Yes, You Read That Right
First, letโs talk numbers.
In 2024, Homestyler hosted 116 competitions on the APP. Thatโs almost one every three days! I mean, whoโs organizing all these? Do they ever sleep? The dedication is inspiring, or mildly terrifyingโI havenโt decided yet. And all of this happened on the APP. Yep, no desktops allowed here, folks. Itโs 2024, and if youโre not designing your dream kitchen on your phone during your lunch break, are you even living?
๐The Winners: 76 Designers Who Made Us Say โWowโ
This year, 76 unique designers walked away with championship titles. These folks didnโt just decorate roomsโthey crafted spaces so beautiful that Iโm pretty sure youโd feel guilty eating takeout in them.
The standout star? VIki V, who won 11 competitions. Eleven! Thatโs more victories than some of us have houseplants that are still alive.
I donโt know what VIkiโs secret is โ maybe they've mastered the art of pairing throw rugs with inside tables, or maybe they've stuck a deal with the Design Fairy.
Either way, itโs impressive.
Close behind were Maura Bonini and Z 10 both with 4 wins. And letโs not forget Elena Turricchia and Home Design Lover, who each snagged 3 wins. These designers made 2024 their runway, and weโre all just sitting here in mismatched chairs wondering how they do it.

Now, about those competitions. The โModern Style Design Challengeโ pulled in 500 designers. Yes, 500. Thatโs not a competition; thatโs a creative army. Everyone came armed with their best ideas, ready to prove they could make modern interiors even more, well, modern.
