❤️2024 Homestyler APP Platform Competition: A Year of Creative Triumphs and Sofa Goals

If there’s one thing I love, it’s creativity. Well, that and a perfectly fluffed pillow on a well-designed sofa. Luckily, the 2024 Homestyler APP Platform competitions brought us both. This year was a whirlwind of talent, design drama, and more color palettes than you could shake a paintbrush at. Let’s dive into what made this year so spectacular—and why I’m convinced interior designers are secretly superheroes.

🧡116 Competitions. Yes, You Read That Right

First, let’s talk numbers. 

In 2024, Homestyler hosted 116 competitions on the APP. That’s almost one every three days! I mean, who’s organizing all these? Do they ever sleep? The dedication is inspiring, or mildly terrifying—I haven’t decided yet. And all of this happened on the APP. Yep, no desktops allowed here, folks. It’s 2024, and if you’re not designing your dream kitchen on your phone during your lunch break, are you even living?

💛The Winners: 76 Designers Who Made Us Say “Wow”

This year, 76 unique designers walked away with championship titles. These folks didn’t just decorate rooms—they crafted spaces so beautiful that I’m pretty sure you’d feel guilty eating takeout in them.

The standout star? VIki V, who won 11 competitions. Eleven! That’s more victories than some of us have houseplants that are still alive.

I don’t know what VIki’s secret is — maybe they've mastered the art of pairing throw rugs with inside tables, or maybe they've stuck a deal with the Design Fairy.

Either way, it’s impressive.

Close behind were Maura Bonini and Z 10 both with 4 wins. And let’s not forget Elena Turricchia and Home Design Lover, who each snagged 3 wins. These designers made 2024 their runway, and we’re all just sitting here in mismatched chairs wondering how they do it.

💙The Competitions: Where the Magic Happened

Now, about those competitions. The “Modern Style Design Challenge” pulled in 500 designers. Yes, 500. That’s not a competition; that’s a creative army. Everyone came armed with their best ideas, ready to prove they could make modern interiors even more, well, modern. If you’ve ever doubted how much style could fit into one room, this competition answered that question with a resounding, “All of it.”

Then there was the “Color Contrast and Matching Challenge.” This one was like a masterclass in making colors that shouldn’t work together look amazing. It’s the kind of creativity that makes you want to rethink every beige couch you’ve ever owned. These designers didn’t just match colors; they created symphonies with them. If your jaw hasn’t dropped yet, you’re probably not paying attention.

Winning these competitions wasn’t just about the glory (though there's a generous helping of that too). Our champions strutted away with some awesome rewards, like exclusive exposure and buckets of coins you can trade in for a Homestyler membership. If I were to take a wild guess, I’d have to say: more competitions, more winners, and even more jaw-dropping designs that make us question our own interior choices. And let’s be real—I’m still holding out for the day someone figures out how to make a room look amazing with just IKEA furniture and a plant that refuses to give up. A girl can dream, right?

But wait, there's more! We’re not just stopping at creating beautiful designs. In 2025, we're adding some magic with more 3D furniture models that you can buy directly from Homestyler. So once you finish your masterpiece, you can snag that perfect couch or funky lamp and make it your reality. Because let's face it, nobody wants their dream room to live only in dreamland.

And for those of you who think, "I have everything I need... except a 3D model of my cat," well, have no fear! We've launched an AI modeler. Just snap a pic of your kitty or whatever unique item you want to include, upload it, and voilà—you can see it come to life in your design.
