How to create an inground pool?-デザインQ＆A-Homestyler Forum

Hi! I'm a beginner and haven't been on Homestyler for a long time. I'm still learning a little bit, but I'm getting the hang of it.

Anyway, my question is how do you make an inground pool? I know there's a tutorial video/ document, but I'm a student and the district has it blocked. If there is any way someone can reply with step-by-step instructions, that would be great!!

Then, you enter 'Interior Modeling', draw a same shape as the hole, then use 'Extrude' to make it sunkened, and also delete the surface on top of the plane, then you got a sunken ground, finally, give a water texture to the sunkened surface:

Step 8: Click on the floor again and change the "Material" to any of your materials choice. Here, I choose mosaic as the final touch.

Step 7: You will see that the whole floor changed into water material. Proceed by ctrl+B or choose "material brush (B)" on your top screen under "Tools". Copy the water material to the customized modelling. (TBC)

Step 6: After you completed your customized modelling, tap on the floor and go to your right side window and choose "Material". Choose water on "Outdoor" in "Texture". You can also choose other translucent materials available in both Texture and Premium Texture. (TBC)

Step 5: Choose to make "Rectangle" model on your top screen. You then make the rectangle model on top of the sunken ground, while you use the XYZ guidelines and points. (TBC)

Step 3: You will then get something like this below. After that, resize its "height" as deep as you want (around 0'2" - 3'3"). You can do that by clicking on the sunken ground.(TBC)

Step 2: Next, go to your left side of your screen and find "Sunken Ground" under the "Structure" in "Build". Create a sunken ground on the floor of the room created.

I'm not a professional user here but if it helps, I can share how I make my own pool. Step 1: Create a room. You'll find that on your right side of your screen, you will see the "Layer Setting" window. You'll have the option to edit the "height" of the floor if you scroll down to "Floor Setting". You can go as deep as 3'3" which will be easy to make a pool out of. (TBC)
