I want to remove ceiling from a terrace for example - also the walls without removing the floor - or I have to build the terrace floor separately with the extrude tool

Sorry for the confusion. Custom modeling a terrace will not show up in plane view. Its a HS glitch. You would be better off building a regular room, lower the wall height to 4" and then removed the ceiling the room will show up in plane view and then can be labeled. That's the way I do it. It's just easier. @ Bistra Angelova

when I build the terrace in custom modeling then I dont know why i cannot add the rendering to my showcase - is it because custom has no name? like the rooms inside

In plane view, click on the room/terrace- look at the right side menu and scroll to 'show ceiling' and move the slider. HS will only allow walls to go as low as 4", the only other way is to use custom modeling to build a slab.

its not helping me - i need to remove walls and ceiling without removing the floor and add railings @ Homestyler Official

its not showing on my interface idk how to make it - I updated to v 5.0 maybe its hidden @ Grace Simmons

In plane view, click on the room/terrace- look at the right side menu and scroll to 'show ceiling' and move the slider. HS will only allow walls to go as low as 4", the only other way is to use custom modeling to build a slab.
