1. Check whether the file format is correct
Support DWG and DXF files drawn by AutoCAD
2. Check whether the file size is larger than 10M
There may be hidden layers, blocks, etc. in the file that cause the file to be too large. Once the file is more than 10M, it will fail to import.
Solution:
1) Enter CAD, use wblock command, select the floor plan to be imported, save it as a new DWG drawing and then import it.
2) You can also create a new drawing, copy the floor plan to be imported, save it and import it again.
3. Check whether the file contains too many complex graphics
If there are too many drawings in the file or there are too many complex graphics in the drawing, it will cause the drawing import to fail.
Solution:
Remove useless information in CAD, only keep the floor plan and import again.
4. Check whether the wall line in the file is drawn with double lines
For the time being, Homestyler only supports the recognition of double-line walls. If a single-line drawing is used, it will cause the drawing import to fail.
