Kitchen cabinet, change color.

If I am reading this correctly, you can't change the color of a selected material. In custom furniture choose cabinet, choose pick by parts, go to style. For simple colors try plain plastic/wall paint/wood-plate material-paint-painted panel. For a specific color (hex code or RGB code-you may have to use a conversion table-from web to get the required code for application). If you have the ability, make a jpeg of your specific color (or upload color swatch) in menu choose materials from uploads/or favorites @ C Pritch

This does not contain any information on changing the colour. I can apply a material but there is no way to change the colour of the material. Why is this so difficult to find out? @ Grace Simmons
