Ceiling removal when you have more than one floor-Des questions-Homestyler Forum

I am working on a 2 story building, but i cant seem to figure out how to remove ceiling on areas of the first floor. I seen a post back in 2021, but that option does not seem to work anymore. Thank you for anyone who has figured this out

In a multi story design the ceiling of the first floor is edited and the 2nd floor floor. To remove ceiling from 1st floor: go to 2nd floor in plane view, in right side menu scroll own to bottom and click on 'edit floor' this will remove the floor which is in effect the ceiling for the 1st floor. You can only do that from an outside wall. Or you can go to the 2ndt floor and use the 'floor opening' tool.
