Once the wall is complete, group it together. Back in the design interface you can check to make sure that it is in the right place. The same method can be used for any irregular shape. Also note that if you don't want to create a whole wall, you can use the door/wall opening to create a space for the custom model to go into. It all sounds complicated but it is really quite simple. I have done it many times. There is also a model in the inventory with a round opening, but if your using patterns on the wall it may not match well when applied to model. Good luck.

First create your wall: either a complete wall or from the 4 in HS wall using the rectangle tool. Calculate the placement of the circle: how far from ceiling,floor and sides. Using those measurements create a square which will be used for the creation of the circle. Using guideline measure where you want the circle. Then use guide again measure to half the length of the sides. Where those guides meet in the middle is where you will draw your circle using the circle tool. Once the circle is made it can be deleted. Then use extrude to create the thickness of the wall.

The only way an irregular shape hole in a wall is to use custom modeling. Note that any HS wall can be decreased in height to only about 4 in. So you can use this partial wall as a guide or you can delete the wall and create a complete new one. The method is basically the same. Planning and measurements are key because once you create the wall you may not be able to adjust it later. Upon entering the custom modeling interface, using guidelines measure out a perfect square using the dimensions of the whole/circle you want to create. IF you want a 10 ft circle, measure out a 10'square.
